Used 2021 Lincoln Navigator for Sale nearLos Angeles, CA

How much does the 2021 Lincoln Navigator cost?

Prices have softened 15.53% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 897 listings available, which suggests solid inventory for shoppers comparing trims and conditions.

Is the 2021 Lincoln Navigator a good car?

Yes — the 2021 Lincoln Navigator earns a 4.8/5 user rating and a 7.7/10 expert rating. The standout strength is Look and feel at 9/10.

The Navigator’s appeal comes through as a full-size luxury SUV that feels more like a luxury apartment than a traditional people mover. Its cabin is notably quiet, the interior materials feel premium, and the powerful engine gives it the strength you expect from a large luxury SUV.

The trade-offs are clear: poor fuel economy and sluggish touchscreen response. If you want a spacious, refined, and powerful American luxury SUV with an upscale atmosphere, this model year fits that brief well.

35.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals, so there is still room to shop selectively.

Is the 2021 Lincoln Navigator reliable?

Owners rate it 4.8/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The Navigator’s quiet cabin, premium materials, and strong powertrain support its reputation as a well-executed luxury SUV. Its performance content also points to a robust twin-turbo V6, a 10-speed automatic, and confident towing capability, all of which reinforce the sense that it was built for demanding use.

Lincoln also includes valet dropoff and pick-up at your home for four years of service, and Black Label trims add service visits plus unlimited car washes and other benefits. For used buyers, the main long-term risk is that depreciation is high and tech age can show up quickly if you want the newest features.

What should I look for when buying a used 2021 Lincoln Navigator?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 77.9% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should still check the report carefully, because a clean listing percentage does not replace a full history review. Prioritize a pre-purchase inspection that focuses on cabin condition, electronics, and how well the vehicle’s luxury features still operate. Pay close attention to signs of heavy use, since this is a large, expensive SUV that may have seen family-hauling or towing duty.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The cabin presentation varies meaningfully by trim, with the higher trims adding richer materials and more textures. Base versions are less lavish than Black Label models, which step things up with softer leather and more upscale detailing.
• Powertrain: A twin-turbo 3.5-liter V6 is the only engine mentioned, and it delivers 450 horsepower and 510 pound-feet of torque. It pairs with a 10-speed automatic and is tuned for strong thrust rather than efficiency.
• Safety package: Automatic emergency braking, lane-keep assist, blind-spot monitoring, and auto high beams come standard. Adaptive cruise control is optional, and the Navigator will not self-steer and track highway lanes as competently as competitors.
• Infotainment: The Navigator uses a 10-inch touchscreen, but it does not wirelessly connect to Apple CarPlay or Android Auto. It also lacks onboard apps and wireless software updates through the vehicle’s modem.
• Fuel efficiency: The Navigator is rated at 16 city and 20 highway mpg, and the review notes that fuel economy is poor.

Which 2021 Lincoln Navigator trim should I buy?

The 2021 Lincoln Navigator is offered in 3 trim levels: Standard, Reserve, Black Label.

Here's the short version:

• Standard: This is the entry point, and it gives you the Navigator experience at the lowest starting price. It makes the most sense if you want the core luxury-SUV formula and plan to add only the options you truly need.
• Reserve: This is the best-value trim for most shoppers because it adds more upscale equipment while staying below the top-tier Black Label pricing. It’s the trim to target if you want a stronger balance of luxury and cost.
• Black Label: This is the most luxurious choice, with richer materials and extra ownership perks. Buy it if you want the most premium cabin presentation and are comfortable paying for it.

Automatic emergency braking, lane-keep assist, blind-spot monitoring, and auto high beams come standard, while adaptive cruise control remains optional.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2021 Lincoln Navigator?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market.

• Deal availability: 35.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 897 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 15.53% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 77.9% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $37,488, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2021 Lincoln Navigator's resale value?

The current average of $37,488 sits slightly below last year's $44,381.

That price movement suggests the Navigator has already absorbed a meaningful amount of depreciation, which can be good news if you’re buying now. For a future seller, it also means resale value may remain under pressure unless the vehicle is especially well kept and equipped.

Because the market has softened, your best resale outcome will likely come from a clean-history example with desirable equipment and strong condition. Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.8/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2021 Lincoln Navigator safe?

The 2021 Navigator earns five-star ratings overall and in every NHTSA test except rollover resistance, where it earns four-star ratings for 4WD models and three-star ratings for RWD models.

It earns an 8/10 safety score from our experts.

Automatic emergency braking, lane-keep assist, blind-spot monitoring, and auto high beams come standard. Adaptive cruise control is optional, and the Navigator will not self-steer and track highway lanes as competently as competitors.

One caveat is that the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety has not rated the Navigator in its current generation, and knee airbags are not offered. Inflatable rear seat belts for the second row are optional.

Should I buy a 2021 Lincoln Navigator or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2021 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2021 if:

• 35.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 77.9% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 15.53% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.8/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• It blends quiet luxury, a powerful engine, and a premium cabin with a distinctly upscale atmosphere.

Consider the 2020 if:

• At $32,583, the 2020 costs less than the current year's $37,488 average.
• It emphasizes comfort, capability, and a roomy third row.

Consider the 2022 if:

• At $46,544, the 2022 costs more than the current year's $37,488 average.
• It adds updated styling, comfort, technology, safety, and driving dynamics.

The bottom line: The 2021 is the sweet spot if you want the Navigator’s luxury feel at a softened market price. If you’re especially price-sensitive, the 2020 is the value play; if you want newer updates and can spend more, the 2022 is the upgrade path.
