Is the 2021 Audi Q7 a good car?

Yes — owners give it 5/5, and that lines up with the strong praise for comfort, performance, and the driving experience. The recurring themes in owner feedback are the smooth ride, powerful handling, and luxurious features, all of which fit a three-row luxury SUV that aims to feel refined every day. If you want a premium family SUV with comfortable front and second-row seating, generous cargo space, and a polished road feel, this model year fits that use case well. With 40.1% of listings marked as good or great deals, you also have a decent chance of finding a compelling example.

Is the 2021 Audi Q7 reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

Owner feedback points to a dependable-feeling ownership experience, with praise centered on comfort, performance, and a driving experience that feels smooth and confident. The positive long-term impression suggests you’re looking at a used SUV that many owners feel good about living with over time. For used buyers, that kind of satisfaction can reduce the worry that the vehicle will become a regret purchase after the honeymoon period.

What should I look for when buying a used 2021 Audi Q7?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 85% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should prioritize a history report first, then focus on a thorough pre-purchase inspection so you can confirm the vehicle’s condition matches the listing. Pay close attention to signs of wear, prior damage, and whether the SUV has been maintained consistently, since luxury ownership can be expensive if deferred maintenance is hiding underneath a clean appearance. Because this model is a premium three-row SUV, condition matters as much as mileage when you’re comparing examples.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2021 Audi Q7?

This looks like a buyer-friendly market, with meaningful deal availability and a healthy number of listings to compare.

• Deal availability: 40.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 805 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 17.00% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 85.0% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $25,800, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2021 Audi Q7's resale value?

The current average of $25,800 sits slightly below last year's $31,083.

That price movement suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you buy more confidently now but may also limit short-term upside if you plan to resell soon. If you’re thinking about future value, the current pricing trend implies you should be selective about condition, mileage, and equipment so your example stands out later. Strong owner satisfaction can help support demand when it’s time to sell.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2021 Audi Q7 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2021 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2021 if:

• 40.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 85% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 17.00% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2020 if:

• At $23,725, the 2020 costs less than the current year's $25,800 average.
• It brings a thorough refresh that improves styling, interior, powertrain, and technology.

The bottom line: If you want the stronger current-market mix of pricing, inventory, and owner satisfaction, the 2021 is the better primary target. If your priority is spending less upfront, the 2020 is the smarter secondary path, especially if you find one in excellent condition with the features you want.
