Used 2020 Lincoln Navigator for Sale nearBakersfield, CA

How much does the 2020 Lincoln Navigator cost?

Prices have softened 15.26% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 944 listings available, which gives you a solid pool of inventory to compare.

Is the 2020 Lincoln Navigator a good car?

Yes — it earns a 5/5 user rating and an 8.2/10 expert rating. The model scores 9/10 across Look and feel, Form and function, and Safety.

Owners consistently praise the spacious and comfortable interior, the smooth ride, and the high-quality technology. The Navigator also stands out as a large, luxurious SUV with strong presence and a cabin that feels well suited to family hauling and long-distance comfort.

The main trade-offs are poor fuel economy and a powertrain that may feel like more engine than some buyers need. The overview also makes clear that this is a vehicle for you if you want a big luxury SUV that emphasizes comfort, space, and capability over efficiency.

Good and great deals account for 38.8% of listings, so you still have room to shop selectively.

Is the 2020 Lincoln Navigator reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The user feedback points to a dependable-feeling ownership experience, with owners describing the Navigator as comfortable, roomy, and well liked over time. The review summary also emphasizes the smooth ride and high-quality technology, which supports the sense that this is a vehicle you can count on for daily use and long trips.

Lincoln’s ownership perks add some reassurance, including valet pickup and delivery for scheduled dealer service, concierge support, and rewards benefits. Black Label models also include free maintenance and car washes.

For used buyers, the main long-term risk is that a luxury SUV this large can be expensive to keep in top shape, especially if prior maintenance was inconsistent.

What should I look for when buying a used 2020 Lincoln Navigator?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 76.2% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should still check the history report carefully, because a clean listing percentage does not replace a proper records review. Prioritize a pre-purchase inspection that focuses on wear items, electronics, and suspension behavior, since this is a large luxury SUV with a lot of equipment. Pay close attention to condition, because the best examples will show consistent care inside and out.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The standard Navigator, Navigator Reserve, and Navigator Black Label are explicitly named, and the Reserve trim adds adaptive cruise control with stop-and-go capability. The Reserve Monochromatic Package also appears as a styling upgrade on Reserve models.
• Powertrain: You get a single twin-turbocharged 3.5-liter V6 with 450 horsepower and 510 lb-ft of torque, paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission. It delivers strong acceleration, but fuel economy is a weak point.
• Safety package: Lincoln Co-Pilot360 is standard and includes forward-collision warning with pedestrian detection, automatic emergency braking, lane-departure warning with lane-keeping assistance, blind-spot warning with trailer coverage, rear cross-traffic warning, and automatic high-beam headlights. Reserve trim adds adaptive cruise control with stop-and-go capability.
• Infotainment: The Navigator uses Sync 3 with a 10-inch touchscreen. It includes Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, wireless device charging, Lincoln Connect with a 4G LTE WiFi hotspot, 911 Assist, and Phone As A Key. The system does not have OTA capability mentioned here.
• Fuel efficiency: The Navigator averaged 16.4 mpg on the testing loop, and the EPA says to expect 18 mpg in combined driving.

Which 2020 Lincoln Navigator trim should I buy?

The 2020 Lincoln Navigator is offered in 3 trim levels: Navigator, Navigator Reserve, Navigator Black Label.

Here's the short version:

• Navigator: This is the entry point, but it still gives you the core Navigator experience: the big twin-turbo V6, the upscale cabin, and the standard safety suite. It makes sense if you want the Navigator’s size and comfort without chasing extras.
• Navigator Reserve: This is the best-value trim for most shoppers because it adds adaptive cruise control with stop-and-go capability and unlocks more of the luxury feel that fits the Navigator’s mission. If you want the sweet spot between equipment and price, start here.
• Navigator Black Label: This is the most indulgent version, with Lincoln’s highest-end ownership perks and the most premium presentation. It suits you best if you want the full flagship treatment and are willing to pay for it.

The standard safety package is already broad, but Reserve trim adds adaptive cruise control with stop-and-go capability.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2020 Lincoln Navigator?

This is a moderate market for selective buyers, so you can shop with some leverage if you know what you want.

• Deal availability: 38.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 944 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 15.26% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 76.2% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $33,225, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2020 Lincoln Navigator's resale value?

The current average of $33,225 sits slightly below last year's $39,210.

That drop suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you as a buyer but may limit upside if you plan to resell soon. If you buy at the right price and keep the vehicle in strong condition, you can reduce the sting of depreciation. The biggest resale advantage will come from choosing a clean, well-maintained example with desirable equipment and a strong service history.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2020 Lincoln Navigator safe?

The 2020 Lincoln Navigator earns a five-star overall safety rating from NHTSA, though with RWD the rollover resistance rating is three stars.

It earns a 9/10 safety score from our experts.

Lincoln Co-Pilot360 is standard and includes forward-collision warning with pedestrian detection, automatic emergency braking, lane-departure warning with lane-keeping assistance, blind-spot warning with trailer coverage, rear cross-traffic warning, and automatic high-beam headlights. Reserve trim adds adaptive cruise control with stop-and-go capability.

The main caveat is the lower rollover resistance rating on RWD models, so that’s worth keeping in mind if you’re comparing drivetrains.

Should I buy a 2020 Lincoln Navigator or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2020 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2020 if:

• 38.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 76.2% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 15.26% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• The 2020 stands out as Lincoln’s flagship SUV with a powerful engine and a comfortable driving experience.

Consider the 2021 if:

• At $37,611, the 2021 costs more than the current year's $33,225 average.
• It adds a more luxury-apartment-like feel with comfier seating and a quieter cabin.

The bottom line: You should lean toward the 2020 if you want the better value and a strong mix of comfort, capability, and luxury. If you’re willing to spend more for a slightly more refined cabin experience, the 2021 is the pricier alternative.
