How much does the 2017 Lincoln Navigator cost?

There are 365 listings available, which gives you a meaningful pool to compare prices and equipment.

Is the 2017 Lincoln Navigator a good car?

Yes — the 2017 Lincoln Navigator earns a 5/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction.

Owners consistently praise the smooth ride, luxurious interior, and spacious cabin, and they also highlight the sound system, navigation, and responsive handling. That makes it a strong fit if you want a full-size luxury SUV that emphasizes comfort, space, and capability for carrying up to seven adults. With 30.4% of listings marked as good or great deals, you also have a decent chance of finding attractive pricing.

Is the 2017 Lincoln Navigator reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback also points to a dependable ownership experience overall, with praise centered on comfort and day-to-day livability rather than recurring trouble. Some drivers do mention minor used-car issues such as running board and backup camera malfunctions, so you should still expect to verify condition carefully on a used example. For long-term ownership, the main risk is less about broad reliability concerns and more about finding a well-maintained truck with any small issues already addressed.

What should I look for when buying a used 2017 Lincoln Navigator?

At 66.6% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report so you can separate clean examples from those with accident records. Then prioritize a thorough pre-purchase inspection, especially for the running boards, backup camera, and other convenience features that owners have flagged. Focus on overall condition and maintenance history, because a large luxury SUV like this is best bought when the previous owner has clearly kept up with it.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2017 Lincoln Navigator?

This is a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop carefully and still find value.

• Deal availability: 30.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.

If you find a listing below $15,838, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2017 Lincoln Navigator's resale value?

The current average of $16,118 sits slightly below last year's $17,638.

That decline suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you buy at a more favorable entry point. For a future seller, it also means resale value may depend heavily on condition, mileage, and how well the vehicle has been maintained. Well-kept examples should hold up better than average because buyers still respond to the Navigator’s luxury image and strong owner satisfaction.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2017 Lincoln Navigator or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2017 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2017 if:

• 30.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 66.6% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 8.62% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2018 if:

• At $25,363, the 2018 costs more than the current year's $16,118 average.
• It brings a sharper redesign with a more upscale look and a stronger sense of style.

The bottom line: If you want the better value play, the 2017 is the smarter starting point because it combines lower pricing with strong owner satisfaction. If you’re willing to spend more for a newer-feeling design and a more modern presentation, the 2018 is the better upgrade path.
