How much does the 2016 Lincoln Navigator cost?

Is the 2016 Lincoln Navigator a good car?

Yes — the 2016 Lincoln Navigator earns a 4.8/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. Owners consistently praise its powerful engine, spacious interior, and high-quality features, and the model’s large luxury-SUV layout makes it a fit if you want comfort, presence, and capability in one package. Is the 2016 Lincoln Navigator reliable?

Owners rate it 4.8/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback highlights a vehicle that feels dependable and trouble-free in everyday use, with praise centered on the powertrain, comfort, and overall ownership experience. That kind of response suggests you can count on it for long-term use if the specific example you choose has been well maintained. For used buyers, the main risk is less about the model’s reputation and more about how carefully the individual vehicle was cared for over time.

What should I look for when buying a used 2016 Lincoln Navigator?

At 60.9% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report so you can separate clean examples from ones with prior damage or repeated repairs. After that, prioritize a thorough pre-purchase inspection, especially on the suspension, electronics, and interior features that matter most in a full-size luxury SUV. Focus on overall condition and maintenance records, because a well-kept example is likely to be a much better ownership experience than one that simply looks good in photos.

What is the 2016 Lincoln Navigator's resale value?

The current average of $13,967 sits slightly below last year's $14,881.

That softer pricing suggests the model has become more accessible for buyers, but it also means future sellers may face a market that rewards clean condition and strong documentation. If you buy well and keep the vehicle in good shape, you can help protect your position when it comes time to resell. Demand should remain supported by the Navigator’s luxury appeal, size, and strong owner satisfaction.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.8/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2016 Lincoln Navigator or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2016 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2016 if:

• 33.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 60.9% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 6.14% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.8/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2016 is a strong choice if you want the refreshed third-generation Navigator at a relatively approachable price and you’re willing to shop carefully for a clean example. If your priority is simply the lowest possible purchase price, a nearby year may be worth comparing, but the 2016 stands out as the better-balanced pick for most buyers because it combines strong owner satisfaction with a favorable market position.
