Used 2019 Toyota Sequoia for Sale nearOakland, CA

How much does the 2019 Toyota Sequoia cost?

Prices have softened 1.64% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 314 listings available, which gives you a modest amount of inventory to compare before you buy.

Is the 2019 Toyota Sequoia a good car?

Yes — the 2019 Toyota Sequoia earns a 5/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. It stands out as a large, truck-based family SUV with three rows of seating and room for up to eight passengers depending on the second-row layout. Its body-on-frame construction, standard Toyota Safety Sense, and focus on towing ability and long-term durability make it especially appealing if you want space and capability over the latest packaging tricks. The market also shows 34.7% of listings as good or great deals, which gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2019 Toyota Sequoia reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The 2019 Sequoia leans on proven hardware rather than novelty, and its truck-based design is part of why shoppers often view it as a durable, practical choice. Toyota’s standard safety suite and the model’s reputation for reliability support that impression, especially if you plan to keep the vehicle for a long time. For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is that age and heavy-duty use can make condition and maintenance history matter more than mileage alone.

What should I look for when buying a used 2019 Toyota Sequoia?

At 56.7% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report so you can separate clean examples from those with accident records. After that, prioritize a thorough pre-purchase inspection, with extra attention to body condition, frame condition, and signs of wear that could affect long-term durability. Because this is a large, truck-based SUV, you’ll want to focus on how well the vehicle has been maintained rather than assuming all examples will age the same way.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2019 Toyota Sequoia?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop carefully without expecting every listing to be a bargain.

• Deal availability: 34.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 314 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 1.64% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 56.7% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $36,773, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2019 Toyota Sequoia's resale value?

The current average of $37,293 sits slightly below last year's $37,917.

That price movement suggests the market has eased a bit, which can help you as a buyer today but may temper short-term gains if you plan to resell soon. Even so, the Sequoia’s reputation for durability and its strong owner satisfaction can help support demand over time. If you keep the vehicle in good condition and maintain it well, you’re more likely to preserve value than a comparable SUV with a weaker reputation.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2019 Toyota Sequoia or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2019 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2019 if:

• 34.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 56.7% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 1.64% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2019 is a solid choice if you want the Sequoia’s proven, truck-based formula and you’re willing to shop carefully for condition. If you’re especially price-sensitive, you may want to compare nearby years and focus on the cleanest, best-maintained example rather than chasing the newest badge.
