Is the 2019 Toyota Sequoia a good car?

Yes — the 5/5 user rating points to strong owner satisfaction for this model year. The 2019 Sequoia stands out as a large, truck-based three-row SUV with room for up to eight passengers depending on the second-row layout, so it fits you well if you want family hauling with a rugged, body-on-frame feel. It also brings a 5.7-liter V8, standard three-row seating, and Toyota’s SafetySense driver-assistance features, while its dated, less efficient character may matter less if you value durability and towing ability more than modern polish. 34.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2019 Toyota Sequoia reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction. The 2019 Sequoia’s appeal is built around proven mechanicals, a body-on-frame platform, and a reputation for durability, all of which support confidence if you want a full-size SUV that can handle regular use and heavier-duty tasks. For used buyers, that kind of rugged construction can reduce worry about the vehicle’s core character, but you should still expect age-related wear to matter on any high-mileage example.

What should I look for when buying a used 2019 Toyota Sequoia?

At 58.8% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report so you can separate clean examples from ones with prior damage. Then prioritize a thorough pre-purchase inspection, especially on body, frame, suspension, and braking condition, since this is a large truck-based SUV that may have seen hard use. Focus on overall condition and maintenance evidence, because the best used Sequoias are the ones that have been cared for consistently rather than simply driven lightly.

Should I buy a 2019 Toyota Sequoia or consider a different year?

• 34.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 58.8% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices are up 2.28% year-over-year.
