How much does the 2019 Lexus GX cost?

There are 670 listings available, which gives you a solid pool of options to compare.

Is the 2019 Lexus GX a good car?

Yes — the 2019 Lexus GX earns a 5/5 user rating, which points to very strong owner satisfaction.

Drivers repeatedly praise its safety features, comfort, and reliability. The luxury interior and smooth performance also come up often, which fits a buyer looking for a premium SUV that still feels capable and practical.

If you want a luxury SUV with real off-road hardware and a reputation for durability, this model year lines up well with that use case. With 40.0% of listings marked as good or great deals, the market also gives you a decent chance to find a compelling example.

Is the 2019 Lexus GX reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The user feedback highlights reliability directly, along with dependable ownership and a trouble-free experience. That lines up with the GX’s appeal as a vehicle you can count on over time, especially if you want a luxury SUV built for long-term use.

For used buyers, the main ownership risk is less about the model’s reputation and more about finding one that has been maintained well and hasn’t accumulated hidden wear.

What should I look for when buying a used 2019 Lexus GX?

At 64.8% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report so you can separate clean examples from ones with past damage. After that, prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially if the listing has higher mileage or incomplete service records.

Focus your inspection on overall condition, signs of prior repair, and whether the SUV still feels tight and well cared for. Because this model is often bought for long-term use, a clean history and strong maintenance record matter more than a bargain price alone.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2019 Lexus GX?

It looks like a buyer’s market, with solid inventory and meaningful deal availability.

• Deal availability: 40.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 670 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 2.77% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 64.8% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $31,816, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2019 Lexus GX's resale value?

The current average of $32,030 sits slightly below last year's $32,943.

That softer pricing can help you buy at a more favorable entry point, but it also suggests the market has already adjusted downward from where it was a year ago. If you plan to sell later, that means your best protection is buying well and choosing a clean, well-kept example.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2019 Lexus GX or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2019 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2019 if:

• 40.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 64.8% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 2.77% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2020 if:

• At $37,078, the 2020 costs more than the current year's $32,030 average.
• It adds fresh styling and a more memorable exterior.

The bottom line: You should start with the 2019 if you want the better value and a wider pool of deals. If you can stretch for the 2020, you get a newer take on the same formula, but price-sensitive buyers will likely find the 2019 the smarter buy.
