Used 2019 Jeep Cherokee for Sale nearPittsburgh, PA

How much does the 2019 Jeep Cherokee cost?

Prices have softened 9.88% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 4,856 listings available, which suggests you should have a solid range of options to compare.

Is the 2019 Jeep Cherokee a good car?

Yes — the 4.67/5 user rating points to strong owner satisfaction. Drivers consistently praise the comfort, smooth ride, spacious interior, and feature set, while also calling out the V6 performance and overall value for money. That makes it a sensible fit if you want a compact SUV with a more modern cabin and everyday practicality, especially since the 2019 refresh added a standard 7-inch touchscreen plus Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. With 33.7% of listings marked as good or great deals, you also have a decent chance of finding one that fits your budget.

Is the 2019 Jeep Cherokee reliable?

Owners rate it 4.67/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The review summary points to a vehicle many owners find dependable in daily use, with comfort and smooth operation standing out as recurring strengths. It also suggests the Cherokee can be a trouble-free choice when you focus on well-kept examples, especially given the model’s long-term ownership appeal and the value buyers see in it. For used shoppers, the main risk is choosing a neglected example, so condition and maintenance history matter a lot.

What should I look for when buying a used 2019 Jeep Cherokee?

At 69.5% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report so you can separate clean examples from those with accident records. After that, prioritize a thorough inspection and test drive, with extra attention on how the transmission behaves and whether the vehicle feels smooth under different driving conditions. It also makes sense to focus on overall condition and equipment function, since some owners noted tech issues and missing features on lower trims.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2019 Jeep Cherokee?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can be choosy if you shop carefully.

• Deal availability: 33.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 4,856 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 9.88% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 69.5% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $14,607, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2019 Jeep Cherokee's resale value?

The current average of $14,607 sits slightly below last year's $16,208.

That price movement suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you buy at a more favorable entry point today. For a future seller, it also means resale value may depend more heavily on condition, mileage, and how well the vehicle has been maintained. Well-kept examples should hold up better than average because shoppers still respond to the Cherokee’s comfort, features, and value proposition.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.67/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2019 Jeep Cherokee or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2019 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2019 if:

• 33.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 69.5% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 9.88% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.67/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line:

The 2019 is the better pick if you want the refreshed styling, standard Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and a market that currently offers meaningful deal potential. If you’re especially price-sensitive, a nearby year may be worth comparing, but you should still prioritize the cleanest, best-maintained example you can find over chasing the lowest sticker price alone.
