Used 2019 Dodge Charger for Sale near Illinois

How much does the 2019 Dodge Charger cost?

Prices have softened 3.64% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 1,928 listings available, which gives you a solid pool of options to compare.

Is the 2019 Dodge Charger a good car?

Yes — the 4.6/5 user rating points to strong owner satisfaction. Owners consistently praise its powerful performance, comfort, and sporty feel, and many also like the smooth driving experience and practical cabin space. That lines up well if you want a performance sedan that still works for everyday driving, especially with its roomy interior and large trunk. With 25.5% of listings marked as good or great deals, you have some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2019 Dodge Charger reliable?

Owners rate it 4.6/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback also points to a dependable-feeling ownership experience, with praise for comfort, strong performance, and a smooth driving character. That said, some shoppers note concerns about gas mileage and acceleration-related tire issues, so long-term ownership risk is more about choosing the right example and maintaining it well than about the model’s basic appeal.

What should I look for when buying a used 2019 Dodge Charger?

At 51.2% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should run a vehicle history report before you commit, then prioritize a pre-purchase inspection on any listing that looks especially appealing. Focus on body condition, signs of prior repair, tire wear, and how the car drives under acceleration, since condition matters a lot when you’re shopping a performance-oriented sedan.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2019 Dodge Charger?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently but should move quickly on the best examples.

• Deal availability: 25.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,928 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 3.64% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 51.2% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $19,418, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2019 Dodge Charger's resale value?

The current average of $19,820 sits slightly below last year's $20,569.

That softer pricing suggests the market has cooled a bit, which can help you buy more carefully now but may also limit short-term upside if you plan to resell soon. For a future seller, the key is to buy well, keep mileage and condition in check, and avoid examples with accident history or visible wear that could weaken demand later.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.6/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2019 Dodge Charger or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2019 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2019 if:

• 25.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 51.2% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 3.64% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.6/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2018 if:

• At $18,952, the 2018 costs less than the current year's $19,820 average.
• It offers classic muscle-sedan character with modern tech and available all-wheel drive.

Consider the 2020 if:

• At $22,722, the 2020 costs more than the current year's $19,820 average.
• It adds a spacious, tech-forward cabin with broad everyday usability.

The bottom line: You should start with the 2019 if you want the best balance of price, owner satisfaction, and current-market availability. If you’re especially price-sensitive, the 2018 is the better value play, while the 2020 makes sense if you want to spend more for a newer-feeling package.

How does the 2019 Dodge Charger compare to the 2019 Chevrolet Impala?

The Charger gives you more power and a much larger used-market selection, while the Impala is cheaper on average and slightly more efficient in city driving. If you want a more performance-focused sedan with broader inventory, the Charger is the stronger fit; if your priority is lower purchase price, the Impala is the easier buy.
