Used 2019 Chevrolet Silverado 2500HD for Sale Nationwide

While the redesigned 2019 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 half-ton is hitting dealer lots as we speak, Chevy hasn’t redesigned the larger Silverado 2500HD just yet. Thus, the 2019 model carries over as before. Chevrolet continues to offer the three-quarter-ton truck in Double and Crew Cabs with standard 6.5-foot and long 8-foot beds. The Silverado 2500HD is primarily a workhorse, so the base engine on the Silverado 2500HD is a powerful 6.0-liter V8 with 360 horsepower and 380 pound-feet of torque. A heavy-duty 6-speed automatic transmission and a standard locking rear differential comes standard. Rear-wheel drive (RWD) is the default orientation, but drivers can opt for four-wheel drive (4WD) with a two-speed electronic transfer case. The engine can also come from the factory with the ability to run on compressed natural gas or liquid propane gas. With this powertrain, the Silverado 2500HD can tow as many as 14,400 pounds. For those needing even more power out of their trucks, there’s an available 6.6-liter turbocharged diesel engine with 445 hp and 910 lb-ft along with an uprated 6-speed automatic transmission and an exhaust brake. As with the gasoline engine, both RWD and 4WD configurations are available. Maximum towing for the diesel engine stands at 15,400 lbs. For the Silverado 2500HD, Chevrolet offers four trims: WT, LT, LTZ, and High Country. The WT trim offers a trailering suspension, vinyl or cloth seating, uprated brakes, and a 7-inch infotainment system. The LT trim adds body-colored mirror caps and door handles, cloth seating, the EZ Lift and Lower tailgate, a 4.2-inch LCD color instrument panel, a nicer 8-inch infotainment system, and OnStar. The LTZ trim comes with heated front seats, leather upholstery, dual-zone automatic climate control, remote start, a trailering equipment package, power-sliding rear windows, and chrome exterior appointments. Finally, the High Country trim gets 20-inch chrome wheels, body-colored front and rear bumpers, unique interior colors, a 6-inch chrome assist step, a spray-in bedliner, Bose premium audio, and navigation. As far as safety goes, a reversing camera, six airbags, stability control, and Teen Driver all come standard on every Silverado 2500HD. Teen Driver lets parents monitor their children’s behavior while driving and even gives them the ability to set limitations on the vehicle. Optional safety equipment includes lane-departure warning, forward-collision alert, a safety-alert seat, and front and rear parking sensors.
