About 2019 Chevrolet Express
Overview

The full-size Express passenger van, first introduced in 1996, carries over unchanged for 2019.
The Express Passenger is one of the few vans, along with the Ford Transit and Nissan NV Passenger Van, that can seat up to 15 people. The Express is available in either regular wheelbase or extended wheelbase, and you can also choose between two strengths of rear-axle ratios: the 2500 or the more rugged 3500.
The base 4.3-liter V6 produces 276 horsepower and 298 lb-ft of torque and is mated to an electronically controlled 8-speed automatic transmission with the 6-speed heavy-duty transmission available as an option. A 6.0-liter V8 Vortec engine that cranks out 341 hp and 373 lb-ft of torque is also available, pairing with the heavy-duty 6-speed transmission. The last engine choice is a 2.8-liter Duramax turbodiesel 4-cylinder that produces 181 hp and 369 lb-ft of torque and is mated to the 8-speed transmission with the 6-speed as an option. As of this writing, fuel economy isn't available for the 2019 Express.
The Express Passenger has a classic van look: boxy, utilitarian, and stout. It comes in two trim levels, LS and LT. The base LS comes standard with a reversing camera, a tow/haul mode selector, external transmission oil cooler, an AM/FM stereo with auxiliary input jack, rubberized vinyl floor covering, front and rear air conditioning, a rear auxiliary heater, an auto-dimming rear-view mirror, 120-volt power outlets, and 4G LTE Wi-Fi hotspot capabilities with the available OnStar system. Moving up to the LT trim adds a chrome grille, bumpers, and center wheel caps, along with carpeted flooring, cruise control, a telescoping steering wheel, remote keyless entry, forward-collision alert, and lane-departure warning.
Other options for the Express Passenger include an infotainment system with navigation and 6.5-inch color touchscreen, Bluetooth, Sirius XM Radio, a USB port, 6-way power driver and passenger front seats, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, steering-wheel mounted controls, remote start, rear park assist, and side blind-zone alert.
The Express Passenger has not been crash tested by the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) or the National Highway and Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA). Standard safety features include hill-start assist, electronic stability control, and OnStar capabilities, while side blind-zone alert, lane-departure warning, forward-collision alert, and rear park assist are all available.
If you’re hoping to conveniently and comfortably move large groups of people, make sure to consider the Chevrolet Express Passenger.

Overpriced this year especially since the 21 has the new 6.6L gas engine with over 60 more HP! I ended up buying a brand new diesel dually. Since the market was so crazy. Other then the price the express is an awesome van! Best line of gas engines ever made I would of bought a new one if they could tow a more a 9600lb limit sucks! My last express lasted me till 220,000 miles and I only changed the oil till about 200k then the parts started pouring on! I am a heavy foot also so she took a beating! I sold it running and driving but I am sure it didn’t have long.

After purchasing we noticed a vibration at highway speeds. Researching showed this to be a common problem inherent to the two driveshafts not being balanced, Take it up to 70 mph before purchase. Overall a great people mover for us, grandkids, and dogs.
