How much does the 2019 BMW M5 cost?

There are 147 listings available, which gives you a modest amount of inventory to compare before you buy.

Is the 2019 BMW M5 a good car?

Yes — the 2019 BMW M5 earns a 5/5 user rating, which is a strong signal that shoppers value it highly. Owners consistently praise its incredible power, luxury, and performance, and they also call out its exceptional speed and solid handling. In practical terms, that lines up well if you want a high-performance luxury sedan that still works as an everyday car. With 29.3% of listings marked as good or great deals, you have some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2019 BMW M5 reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback emphasizes a trouble-free ownership experience, with no major dislikes reported in the summary. That kind of response suggests the car can be a dependable choice when it has been cared for properly. For used buyers, the main long-term risk is less about the model’s appeal and more about the cost and complexity that come with high-performance ownership.

What should I look for when buying a used 2019 BMW M5?

At 66.7% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report so you can confirm accident records, title status, and ownership history. After that, prioritize a thorough pre-purchase inspection, especially on a performance sedan where maintenance and repair costs can add up quickly. Focus on overall condition, signs of hard use, and whether the car has been maintained consistently.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2019 BMW M5?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop carefully and still find worthwhile options.

• Deal availability: 29.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 147 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 7.35% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $52,294, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2019 BMW M5's resale value?

The current average of $52,294 sits slightly below last year's $56,442.

That price movement suggests the market has softened, which can help you buy more favorably now but may also limit short-term upside if you plan to resell soon. If you keep the car in strong condition and maintain it well, you can help protect value better than a neglected example. Demand should remain supported by the model’s strong enthusiast appeal and high owner satisfaction.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2019 BMW M5 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2019 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2019 if:

• 29.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 66.7% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 7.35% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2019 is a strong choice if you want the M5’s core mix of speed, luxury, and everyday usability, especially now that prices have eased. If you’re more price-sensitive, it also makes sense to compare nearby years and focus on the cleanest, best-maintained example rather than chasing the newest badge.
