Used 2019 BMW 4 Series for Sale nearWashington, DC

How much does the 2019 BMW 4 Series cost?

Prices have softened 6.44% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 788 listings available, which gives you a meaningful pool to compare prices and conditions.

Is the 2019 BMW 4 Series a good car?

Yes — 5/5 is a strong user rating for the 2019 BMW 4 Series, and the model’s overview backs up why it appeals to shoppers who want a premium coupe or convertible with a sporty edge. You get a sleek, distinctive design, a narrower model range than the 3 Series, and body styles that include a coupe, a convertible, and the five-door Gran Coupe.

It also comes with solid standard equipment, including 17-inch alloy wheels, xenon headlights, automatic climate control, power front seats, and BMW’s iDrive system. For buyers who want style and driving character in a premium package, that combination makes sense.

35.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2019 BMW 4 Series reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The overview describes the 2019 BMW 4 Series as generally dependable, with the caveat that BMW repairs can be costly if something goes wrong. That means the car can make sense if you want a premium used coupe or convertible and you’re prepared for the possibility of higher repair bills than you might see with a mainstream model.

For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is not everyday drivability so much as the cost of fixing premium-brand issues if they appear.

What should I look for when buying a used 2019 BMW 4 Series?

At 54.1% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report and confirm whether any reported damage was minor or more serious. Then prioritize a pre-purchase inspection so you can check for signs of bodywork, uneven panel gaps, roof operation on convertibles, and any wear that might not show up in photos.

Focus on overall condition rather than just mileage, since a premium car like this can be more expensive to refresh if previous owners deferred maintenance or repairs.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2019 BMW 4 Series?

This looks like a moderate market where selective buyers can still find value if they shop carefully.

• Deal availability: 35.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 788 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 6.44% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 54.1% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $19,209, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2019 BMW 4 Series's resale value?

The current average of $19,427 sits slightly below last year's $20,764.

That price movement suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you as a buyer today but may also limit upside if you plan to resell soon. If you buy at the right price and keep the car in strong condition, you’ll be better positioned to protect value later.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2019 BMW 4 Series or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2019 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2019 if:

• 35.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 54.1% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 6.44% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2019 is the right path if you want a stylish, premium 4 Series with a strong user rating and a softer price than it had a year ago. If you’re especially price-sensitive, you can use the current market to compare this year against nearby model years and focus on the cleanest, best-priced examples rather than buying the first one you see.
