How much does the 2019 Audi A5 cost?

Prices have softened 7.84% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 218 listings available, which suggests you have a modest amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2019 Audi A5 a good car?

Yes — the 2019 Audi A5 earns a 5/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. The overview describes it as a stylish luxury coupe with a premium feel and a sporty edge, and it also highlights the model’s sleek design, available body styles, and upscale cabin. For you, that means the A5 makes the most sense if you want a refined daily driver that feels more premium than a basic commuter car while still offering some practical flexibility, especially in Sportback form. With 38.5% of listings marked as good or great deals, there is still room to shop selectively.

Is the 2019 Audi A5 reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction. The overview also points to a well-equipped cabin and a refined, upscale character that should appeal if you value a polished ownership experience. For used buyers, the main long-term risk is less about the car’s image and more about making sure you choose a well-kept example, since condition and maintenance history matter a lot in a premium vehicle.

What should I look for when buying a used 2019 Audi A5?

At 61% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report and confirm whether any prior damage was repaired properly. Put inspection priority on body panels, paint consistency, alignment, and signs of previous collision work, then make sure the cabin electronics and comfort features operate as expected. Because this model is a luxury car, condition matters as much as mileage, so focus on examples that show careful ownership and clean maintenance records.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2019 Audi A5?

This is a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop with some leverage if you compare listings carefully.

• Deal availability: 38.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 218 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 7.84% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 61.0% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $22,323, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2019 Audi A5's resale value?

The current average of $22,327 sits slightly below last year's $24,226.

That price decline suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you buy at a more favorable entry point today. If you plan to sell later, the key will be how well you preserve condition and documentation, because premium cars tend to reward clean history and strong presentation. A well-kept example should be easier to move than one with accident history or visible wear.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2019 Audi A5 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2019 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2019 if:

• 38.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 61% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 7.84% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: If you want the strongest mix of value, style, and owner satisfaction, the 2019 is the primary year to target. If you are especially price-sensitive, keep an eye out for listings near the low end of the range and be willing to move quickly when you find a clean example with a solid history.
