Why it stands out
The 2018 Toyota 4Runner remains a strong choice in the midsize SUV segment, particularly for those who prioritize off-road capability and reliability. With a rugged body-on-frame construction and a reputation for durability, the 4Runner has consistently delivered the kind of performance expected from an off-road SUV. This model established itself as a reliable companion for both daily commutes and adventurous excursions.
Newer features, such as standard safety technology and modern infotainment options, have been integrated into the 4Runner, balancing its traditional robustness with contemporary conveniences. However, it still preserves its characteristic off-road prowess, making it a unique offering against competitors that lean more toward a car-like driving experience.
While some may find the design to be somewhat dated and fuel efficiency moderate, the 4Runner’s enduring resale value and solid reputation make it an appealing option for buyers looking for a capable and proven SUV.

This is a very nice vehicle, the one thing I wish this car did have, was a keyless start, but that’s not a deal breaker

Always an excellent vehicle. Hands down unbeatable in the snow and one of the, by far, best 4x4 systems on the planet. Highly recommend trying one out. The wheels will fall off before the engine or transmission quits... just sayin..

This car has everything, my dream car. Only downside is the demand for the car is so high and the gas mileage is average. But with that size of a car you can’t have it all.
