Used 2018 Kia Soul for Sale near Ohio

How much does the 2018 Kia Soul cost?

Prices have softened 1.33% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 996 listings available, which gives you a solid amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2018 Kia Soul a good car?

Yes — the 2018 Kia Soul earns a 4.67/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. Owners consistently praise its reliability, great value for the price, and enjoyable style and features. That fits the Soul’s role as a practical subcompact hatchback with a roomy cabin and a value-conscious personality, especially if you want something distinctive without giving up everyday usefulness. With 28.5% of listings marked as good or great deals, you still have room to shop selectively.

Is the 2018 Kia Soul reliable?

Owners rate it 4.67/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback highlights reliability, great value, and a generally trouble-free ownership experience, which is encouraging if you want a used car you can count on. The same feedback also points to a few practical annoyances, so a careful inspection still matters. For used buyers, the main long-term risk is less about the model’s appeal and more about finding one that has been maintained well and avoided avoidable wear.

What should I look for when buying a used 2018 Kia Soul?

At 52.4% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report and confirm whether any prior damage was repaired properly. Put inspection priority on body condition, panel alignment, and signs of past collision work, then test the pedals and cabin ergonomics to make sure the car feels comfortable in daily use. It also makes sense to verify that the spare tire situation and other practical equipment match your expectations before you commit.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2018 Kia Soul?

This is a moderate market, so you can shop thoughtfully without feeling rushed, but the best listings still deserve quick attention.

• Deal availability: 28.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 996 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 1.33% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 52.4% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $9,982, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2018 Kia Soul's resale value?

The current average of $10,229 sits slightly below last year's $10,367.

That modest decline suggests the market has softened a bit, which can help you buy more confidently now but may also limit short-term upside if you plan to resell soon. For a future seller, the key is to buy a clean example at a fair price so you have less depreciation to absorb later. Strong condition and a good ownership record matter more when the market is already showing some price pressure.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.67/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2018 Kia Soul or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2018 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2018 if:

• 28.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 52.4% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 1.33% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.67/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2017 if:

• At $8,796, the 2017 costs less than the current year's $10,229 average.
• It emphasizes distinctive styling and a spacious cabin.

The bottom line: Choose the 2018 if you want the stronger all-around used-market case, especially with its solid owner satisfaction and current deal availability. If your top priority is spending less upfront, the 2017 is the better price-sensitive alternative, but you should expect to trade down on overall market appeal.
