Why it stands out
The 2018 Toyota C-HR is a standout in the subcompact SUV market primarily due to its unique styling and sporty driving dynamics. Despite being designed as a high-riding coupe-like vehicle, it unfortunately compromises on practical utility, offering less cargo space compared to rivals like the Honda HR-V and Mazda CX-3. The C-HR features a 2-liter 4-cylinder engine that delivers adequate performance, although it's not known for brisk acceleration. Its handling is commendable with responsive cornering and strong braking capabilities, providing a fun driving experience. However, the C-HR lacks basic offerings such as AWD and modern infotainment features like Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Safety is a strong point, with a comprehensive suite of standard safety technologies under Toyota Safety Sense P. While its distinctive appearance appeals to many, potential buyers should consider the balance between style and the utilitarian aspects of a subcompact SUV.

Extremely well designed car but not meant for use as a family vehicle. A sporty SUV with all the bells, whistles and class. Eyecatching exterior.

Exceptional value! I love all the safety features and the very smooth ride. The MPG is great. Its a crossover but it is very spacious and has tons of storage space! Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a crossover. The only thing I wish it had is Apple CarPlay, but I believe that only started to come standard in 2019.
