Used 2018 Audi A5 for Sale nearSan Francisco, CA

How much does the 2018 Audi A5 cost?

Prices have softened 8.12% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 246 listings available, which gives you a modest pool of options to compare.

Is the 2018 Audi A5 a good car?

Yes — the 2018 Audi A5 earns a 5/5 user rating, which points to very strong owner satisfaction. Owners consistently praise its elegant design, impressive handling, and advanced features, and many also like its sporty yet luxurious feel and roomy interior compared with competitors. If you want a stylish luxury coupe with a practical edge, the A5’s mix of premium atmosphere and everyday usability fits that use case well. 35.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2018 Audi A5 reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback highlights a car that many people find dependable in daily use, with praise centered on its refined driving experience and upscale feel. That said, some buyers reported issues with vehicle condition at purchase, so reliability for you will depend heavily on how carefully a specific used example was maintained and inspected. For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is starting with a poorly kept car rather than a fundamentally weak model.

What should I look for when buying a used 2018 Audi A5?

At 59.3% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should run a vehicle history report before you commit, since accident history can affect both value and future ownership confidence. Put inspection priority on body condition, panel alignment, and signs of prior repair, then verify that the car’s premium features and interior equipment are working as expected. Because owner feedback mentions some inconsistency in condition at purchase, you should focus on finding the cleanest, best-documented example rather than simply chasing the lowest price.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2018 Audi A5?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently but should move quickly on the best examples.

• Deal availability: 35.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 246 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 8.12% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 59.3% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $18,838, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2018 Audi A5's resale value?

The current average of $18,838 sits slightly below last year's $20,503.

That price movement suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you buy at a more favorable entry point today. For future resale, a lower purchase price can reduce your depreciation exposure if you keep the car in strong condition and maintain good records. Demand should remain supported by the model’s upscale image and broad appeal to shoppers who want style and practicality in one package.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2018 Audi A5 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2018 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2018 if:

• 35.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 59.3% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 8.12% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2018 is the better choice if you want the redesigned A5 with strong owner satisfaction and a softer used-car price than it had a year ago. If you are especially price-sensitive, you may want to compare it with nearby years and focus on the cleanest, best-documented example rather than the cheapest one.
