Why it stands out
The 2017 Kia Forte stands out in the crowded compact sedan segment due to its significant mid-cycle refresh that includes a restyled front end, modern lighting, and a new, more efficient 2.0-liter engine. With 147 horsepower and improved fuel efficiency—up to 29 mpg city and 38 highway—the Forte offers drivers a practical and economical choice. The interior is spacious, boasting a trunk capacity of 14.9 cubic feet, placing it among the leaders in the category. While it faces competition from models like the Honda Civic and Mazda3, the Forte delivers a well-rounded package with excellent cost-effectiveness, as evidenced by its appealing entry price and available features. Notably, safety is a priority, with numerous features available across different trims, complementing a solid 5-star NHTSA safety rating. Despite some noted areas for improvement in ride comfort, the Forte’s total package captures attention, especially for those prioritizing reliability and valuable features.

So if you go with the forte and it says Apple car play or Android auto. Bring a cable and actually make sure! Ours said it and it didnt have it. We couldnt do a map upgrade and get it, cause our 2017 does not have navigation. If it did, the update wouldve worked.
