Why it stands out
The 2017 Honda Ridgeline stands out in the crowded pickup market thanks to its unique unibody construction, which combines the best of a truck’s utility with the comfort and handling characteristics of a car. This model excels in delivering a smooth, car-like ride while offering practical features, such as a spacious interior, clever cargo solutions, and a lockable under-bed storage area that is perfect for storing larger items. Its robust V6 engine provides adequate power, and the available all-wheel-drive system enhances all-weather capability. However, it does have limitations in towing capacity comparably to other midsize trucks, making it more suitable for light-duty use than heavy hauling. Overall, the Ridgeline is ideal for buyers looking for a comfortable ride with versatile practicality, especially for urban settings.

We were looking for a truck for light hauling. Not for off-road. And I didn’t want to truck that looked all tricked out and masculine. I wanted a smooth ride, and a functional truck. We ruled out other midsize trucks because they rode like a truck. And as a passenger, the ride was unsettling. I prefer a ride like butter. Then we found the Honda Ridgeline. Because it is built different than the other midsize trucks, basically a truck body or an SUV base, it rides as smooth as silk. It doesn’t look like I’m trying to be young, or masculine or tough. It’s a classy looking little truck. The electronics inside blow me away. All of the safety features, and the space inside the backseat. It was exactly what we were looking for. I just didn’t know it existed until I found the Ridgeline.
