Why it stands out
The 2016 Toyota Sienna remains a top contender in the minivan sector, appreciated for its comfort, spaciousness, and versatile features that cater to family needs. It has maintained a strong reputation for its reliability and performance, equipped with a potent 3.5-liter V6 engine producing 266 horsepower. The addition of Siri Eyes Free enhances its tech offerings, allowing iPhone users to access features hands-free. While it does have some complaints regarding engine noise during acceleration, and ease of entry and exit from the seats, the overall layout and craftsmanship, particularly in higher trims, elevate its appeal. The Sienna also shines with its safety ratings, securing high marks from both the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) and the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS), making it a smart choice for safety-conscious buyers looking for a spacious family vehicle.

The features are great especially the right blind spot display. This car is a great value. The only thing missing is leather seats. I can’t compare it to any other models since this one is a special edition.

We looked at the Honda and Toyota minivans. We ended up purchasing the Sienna. It is a great vehicle, great value, very comfortable. Prior to purchasing the vehicle the two negative reviews I found were the engine is loud when accelerating and the car seats are hard to get in and out. I did not even notice the engine noise so that is a non-issue for me but the car seats were a little tricky. We leave our car seats in for extended periods of time (only take out to clean) so its really not a big deal. If we took them out every day I could see how this would be annoying but the fact that they essentially live in the car I really dont care. All the extra features are really nice too, automatic doors with buttons on the key fob, build in sun screens, electronics are really nice and responsive, the interior space and head room is massive. We really enjoy this vehicle and will have it for a long time.
