Used 2016 Ford Taurus for Sale near Wisconsin

How much does the 2016 Ford Taurus cost?

Prices have held steady compared to this time last year, signaling a stable and predictable market for this model year.

There are 497 listings available, which gives you a decent amount of inventory to compare before you buy.

Is the 2016 Ford Taurus a good car?

Yes — the 4.67/5 user rating points to strong owner satisfaction for this model year. The Taurus stands out as a full-size sedan that still offered a lot of space and a choice of powertrains, so you get a roomy, mainstream car with enough variety to fit different priorities. For value-focused shoppers, it also fits the description of a spacious, reliable car that could be a good deal. 25.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which suggests there are still worthwhile opportunities in the market.

Is the 2016 Ford Taurus reliable?

Owners rate it 4.67/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The Taurus is described as a spacious, reliable car with a straightforward large-sedan mission, and that combination is part of its appeal for used buyers. Its broad range of engines and mainstream design also support the idea of a car built to serve everyday needs rather than chase novelty. For long-term ownership, your biggest risk is finding a neglected example, so condition and maintenance history matter more than the badge alone.

What should I look for when buying a used 2016 Ford Taurus?

At 59.4% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report so you can separate clean examples from cars with past damage. After that, prioritize a thorough inspection of body panels, alignment, and signs of uneven wear, since condition can vary a lot from one listing to another. Focus on the overall state of the car rather than just the asking price, especially if you want a long-term daily driver.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2016 Ford Taurus?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently and still find reasonable value.

• Deal availability: 25.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 497 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have held steady compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 59.4% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $9,943, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2016 Ford Taurus's resale value?

The current average of $10,604 sits slightly below last year's $10,678.

That small decline suggests the Taurus has been holding value in a fairly stable way rather than dropping sharply. For a future seller, that kind of pricing pattern can be helpful because it points to a market that is predictable and easier to time. If you buy well and keep the car in strong condition, you should have a reasonable shot at preserving a fair share of your purchase value.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.67/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2016 Ford Taurus or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2016 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2016 if:

• 25.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 59.4% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have held steady compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.67/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: You should lean toward the 2016 if you want a roomy full-size sedan with stable pricing and a solid satisfaction profile. If you’re especially price-sensitive, a nearby year may be worth comparing, but the 2016 is the better starting point when you want a balanced mix of value, availability, and buyer confidence.
