The 2016 Ford Explorer Sport would have made an excellent Bluesmobile.

For 2016, Ford refreshes the popular Explorer by updating the styling, upgrading the available features, offering a new and more efficient engine option, and adding a new Platinum luxury trim level. Collectively, the changes make the 2016 Explorer the best one yet. Unfortunately, Ford failed to fix one of this crossover SUV’s only real flaws, making it hard to recommend the Explorer.

I’ve driven Ford Explorers prior to this visit and have always loved the space within the vehicle. I’m a relatively averaged sized woman so it’s not an obnoxious amount of space within the car, but just right. Features such as car detection, radio/SIRIUS XM, seat adjustment/warming, etc was what I was looking for. Car was in relatively good condition. One feature that’s missing is Apple CarPlay, but that’s pretty much it.

Extreme scratches all over vehicle. Driver seat motor seemed to be going out, and the seat turned and slanted when you moved it forward/aft (so you were not even sitting straight when you moved it back a few inches.

Nice ride. I find it a little big and will need to get used to it after driving compact vehicles. Having said that, the explorer is well laid out and comfortable to drive. Im impressed with the exceleration and handling for a larger vehicle. This sport edition is very well equipped and checks all the boxes for features you could possibly want. Overall Im very impressed with it.

Very satisfied! Excellent smooth ride. Very roomy! I had a Chevrolet Tahoe before and so far the Ford Explorer trumps the Tahoe! Love it!

I love this car! Plenty of room and it’s not a tight squeeze at all when all 3 rows are occupied. I’m 6’4” and my head actually didn’t touch the roof in the 3rd row! The Sport model has a ton of power for towing or for zipping around traffic. I’m really impressed with this model if the Explorer, it’s exceeded my expectations!
