Yes — the 5/5 user rating points to strong owner satisfaction. The 2015 Toyota Sequoia is described as a big, truck-based family SUV with three rows of seating, so it fits you well if you want space for people and the toughness of a body-on-frame design. Is the 2015 Toyota Sequoia reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The 2015 Toyota Sequoia is described as using dependable powertrains and strong long-term durability, with a value-focused place in the lineup that benefited from earlier issues being worked out. Its truck-based construction and proven components are part of why it appeals to buyers who want durability over complexity. For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is less about the core drivetrain and more about age-related wear on a large SUV.

What should I look for when buying a used 2015 Toyota Sequoia?

At 50.2% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report so you can separate clean examples from those with prior damage. After that, prioritize a thorough pre-purchase inspection, especially on brakes, rust-prone areas, and other wear items that can show up on older SUVs. Focus on overall condition and maintenance records, since a well-kept example is more likely to deliver the durability you want.

• Deal availability: 33.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.

If you find a listing below $19,365, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2015 Toyota Sequoia's resale value?

The current average of $19,365 sits slightly below last year's $20,776.

That price movement suggests the market has eased, which can help you buy at a better entry point now but may also limit short-term upside if you plan to resell soon. For a future seller, the good news is that the Sequoia’s durable, truck-based reputation can help support demand among shoppers who want a large SUV with proven capability. The challenge is that its value will still depend heavily on condition, mileage, and maintenance history.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2015 Toyota Sequoia or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2015 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2015 if:

• 33.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 50.2% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 6.79% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line:

The 2015 is a strong choice if you want the Sequoia’s proven truck-based durability, three-row practicality, and a market that still offers some deal opportunities. If you are especially price-sensitive, you may want to compare nearby years and focus on the cleanest, best-maintained example rather than chasing the lowest sticker price.
