Is the 2015 Porsche 911 a good car?

Yes — the 2015 Porsche 911 earns a 4.91/5 user rating, which points to very strong owner satisfaction. Owners consistently praise its performance, handling, speed, and sporty feel, and the Targa’s convertible hard top is another recurring highlight. Is the 2015 Porsche 911 reliable?

Owners rate it 4.91/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

Owner feedback also points to a car that feels dependable and rewarding over time, with praise centered on performance, handling, and the kind of ownership experience people tend to stick with. That said, used buyers should still plan for long-term ownership costs and make sure the specific car has been maintained carefully, since expensive repairs can quickly change the math on a high-end sports car.

What should I look for when buying a used 2015 Porsche 911?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 79.2% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should still run a history report on any car you’re considering, even if the listing looks clean at first glance. Prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially on a performance car where maintenance history matters as much as mileage. Focus on overall condition, service records, and signs of hard use so you can avoid paying top dollar for a car that needs immediate work.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2015 Porsche 911?

This looks like a moderate market, so you can buy now if the right car appears, but it still pays to be selective.

• Deal availability: 33.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 395 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices are up 8.54% year-over-year.
• Clean inventory: 79.2% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $111,955, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2015 Porsche 911's resale value?

The current average of $126,018 sits slightly above last year's $116,107.

That upward move suggests the market continues to value this model year, which can help support resale strength if you buy carefully. A car with strong demand and a broad pool of interested shoppers is usually easier to sell later, especially when it has clean history and good documentation. If you keep the car in strong condition and stay on top of maintenance, you improve your odds of getting a competitive offer when it’s time to move on.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.91/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2015 Porsche 911 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2015 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2015 if:

• 33.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 79.2% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices are up 8.54% year-over-year.
• Owners rate it 4.91/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2015 is a strong choice if you want a highly rated 911 with proven owner appeal and enough market inventory to shop carefully. If you’re more price-sensitive, a nearby year may be worth comparing for a lower entry point, but the 2015 stands out if you value satisfaction, demand, and a well-established used-market profile.
