Is the 2016 Porsche 911 a good car?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 78.1% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should start with a history report to confirm accident status and look for any signs of prior damage or inconsistent ownership records. Focus on overall condition, maintenance documentation, and whether the car shows signs of hard driving or deferred upkeep.

What is the 2016 Porsche 911's resale value?

The current average of $165,642 sits slightly above last year's $140,463.

That kind of price movement suggests the market continues to place a premium on this model year. If you buy well and keep the car in strong condition, you may be better positioned when it comes time to sell. The relatively limited supply also helps support pricing for clean examples.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.8/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2016 Porsche 911 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2016 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2016 if:

• 33.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 78.1% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices are up 17.93% year-over-year.
• Owners rate it 4.8/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: If you want the 2016 Porsche 911 specifically, it makes sense to focus on clean, well-priced examples because demand is still strong. If your main goal is to minimize upfront cost, a nearby model year may be worth considering, but the 2016 remains the better path if you value strong owner satisfaction and a broad, desirable market.
