Is the 2015 Ford Fiesta a good car?

Yes — the 2015 Ford Fiesta earns a 5/5 user rating and a 7.5/10 expert rating. The standout strength is Technology at 10/10.

The Fiesta’s appeal comes from its flexibility: it can be optioned for either luxury or sportiness, and that gives it a distinctive personality in the subcompact class. The overview also points to a refreshed look with a trapezoidal grille and revised rear fascia, while the expert notes that the car can be equipped with features that were once reserved for pricier vehicles.

The market shows 24.3% of listings as good or great deals, so you have some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2015 Ford Fiesta reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The Fiesta’s overview emphasizes a solid, distinctive small-car package, and the expert notes that the chassis feels tremendously stout. The performance write-up also describes the EcoBoost engine as smooth and quiet, with early torque delivery and responsive power when it’s on boost.

If you’re buying used, the main long-term ownership risk is making sure the car has been maintained properly and that any turbocharged or manual-transmission wear is checked carefully.

What should I look for when buying a used 2015 Ford Fiesta?

At 65.2% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report and then prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially if the car has had bodywork or shows uneven panel gaps, tire wear, or interior wear that doesn’t match the mileage. Focus on how the car drives, how the transmission feels, and whether the features you want are actually present on the trim you’re considering.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The basic S is the entry point, while the SE, Titanium, and ST add more equipment and personality; the hatchback body style is more functional, and the ST is the overtly sporty choice.
• Powertrain: You can find a standard 1.6-liter four-cylinder, an available 1.0-liter EcoBoost three-cylinder in SE models, and a turbocharged ST setup with much more power; the EcoBoost is manual-only.
• Safety package: Standard equipment includes 7 airbags, a driver’s knee airbag, AdvanceTrac stability control, and the Ford Personal Safety System; the body structure uses high-strength boron steel.
• Infotainment: Available tech includes a touchscreen navigation system, Sync hands-free functionality, Bluetooth audio streaming, rear-view camera, and Sync AppLink.
• Fuel efficiency: The 1.0-liter EcoBoost is rated at 31 mpg city/43 highway.

Which 2015 Ford Fiesta trim should I buy?

The 2015 Ford Fiesta is offered in 4 trim levels: S, SE, Titanium, and ST.

Here's the short version:

• S: This is the simplest way into the Fiesta lineup, so it makes sense if you want the lowest-cost path and can live without the richer equipment found higher up.
• SE: This is the best-value trim for most shoppers because it opens the door to the available 1.0-liter EcoBoost and keeps the Fiesta’s core appeal intact.
• Titanium: Choose this if you want the more upscale side of the Fiesta, with the kind of equipment that makes the car feel closer to a small luxury hatch or sedan.
• ST: This is the enthusiast pick, with the turbocharged performance setup and the most overtly sporty character in the lineup.

The safety content highlights standard airbags, stability control, and the Ford Personal Safety System across the lineup.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2015 Ford Fiesta?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop carefully and still find worthwhile listings.

• Deal availability: 24.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 379 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 11.25% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 65.2% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $6,357, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2015 Ford Fiesta's resale value?

The current average of $6,455 sits slightly below last year's $7,273.

That decline suggests the Fiesta has become more affordable for buyers, which can help keep demand moving if you decide to sell later. For you, that means pricing competitively will matter, especially if your car has higher mileage or visible wear.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2015 Ford Fiesta safe?

The 2015 Ford Fiesta earns a 7/10 safety score from our experts.

The Fiesta is described as being as safe as Ford can make it, with 7 standard airbags, including a driver’s knee airbag. It also comes with AdvanceTrac stability control and the Ford Personal Safety System, and the body structure uses high-strength boron steel for added rigidity.

The safety write-up also notes that front and side visibility are good, and that the car’s nimble chassis helps you maneuver around trouble. For used buyers, the main takeaway is that the Fiesta’s safety package is solid for the class, but you should still verify that all airbags and driver-assistance-related systems are intact and functioning properly.

Should I buy a 2015 Ford Fiesta or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2015 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2015 if:

• 24.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 65.2% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 11.25% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• The 2015 brings the refreshed styling and the arrival of the EcoBoost model.

Consider the 2014 if:

• At $6,493, the 2014 costs more than the current year's $6,455 average.
• It offers standout looks and a well-equipped interior with strong entertainment tech.

The bottom line: If you want the better value right now, the 2015 is the cleaner choice because it costs less than the 2014 on average and benefits from softer pricing. If you’re shopping on a tighter budget and find a well-kept 2014 with the equipment you want, it can still make sense, but the 2015 is the more compelling starting point for most used-car buyers.
