How much does the 2014 BMW 6 Series cost?

Prices have softened 5.12% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

Is the 2014 BMW 6 Series a good car?

Yes — the 4.7/5 user rating points to strong owner satisfaction. Owners consistently praise the smooth ride, luxurious feel, impressive power, roomy interior, and eye-catching design. For you, that means this model year fits best if you want a stylish, performance-focused luxury car that still feels comfortable and upscale in daily use. The market also shows 31.1% of listings as good or great deals, which gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2014 BMW 6 Series reliable?

Owners rate it 4.7/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

Owner feedback also points to a car that feels dependable in the ways that matter to enthusiasts: smooth, refined, and enjoyable over time. At the same time, buyers should keep in mind that maintenance costs can be high, so long-term ownership risk is more about expensive upkeep than basic appeal.

What should I look for when buying a used 2014 BMW 6 Series?

At 56.8% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should run a vehicle history report on every candidate and prioritize listings with clean records. A pre-purchase inspection is especially important here because condition and maintenance history can matter a lot on a luxury performance car. Focus on signs of deferred upkeep, since ownership costs can rise quickly if the car has been neglected.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2014 BMW 6 Series?

This is a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop carefully and still find value if you compare listings closely.

• Deal availability: 31.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 222 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 5.12% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 56.8% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $15,438, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2014 BMW 6 Series's resale value?

The current average of $15,438 sits slightly below last year's $16,271.

That softer pricing suggests the model has already absorbed some depreciation, which can help future sellers if they buy at the right price. Because the market is still active and the car has strong owner satisfaction, demand should remain reasonably steady for well-kept examples. If you maintain the car carefully and keep records, you improve your odds of standing out when it’s time to sell.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.7/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2014 BMW 6 Series or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2014 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2014 if:

• 31.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 56.8% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 5.12% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.7/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: You should lean toward the 2014 if you want the strongest mix of current value, owner satisfaction, and luxury grand-touring appeal. If you’re especially price-sensitive, a different year may be worth comparing, but the 2014 already gives you a softer price point and enough inventory to shop selectively.
