Is the 2014 Audi A5 a good car?

Yes — 4.75/5 is a strong user rating for this model year. The 2014 Audi A5 stands out as a stylish luxury coupe with a premium feel and genuinely sporty hardware, and it pairs that character with quattro all-wheel drive for added confidence. It also offers a decent amount of room for four occupants, a generous trunk for a coupe, and upscale standard equipment that helps it feel more special than a basic two-door. 32.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2014 Audi A5 reliable?

Owners rate it 4.75/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The 2014 Audi A5’s appeal comes from its premium feel, sporty dynamics, and all-wheel-drive confidence, which can make it a satisfying car to live with if you value those traits. Its refreshed setup and well-equipped cabin also support the impression of a thoughtfully engineered luxury coupe. For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is making sure the specific car you choose has been maintained carefully and hasn’t accumulated hidden wear from prior use.

What should I look for when buying a used 2014 Audi A5?

At 59.9% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report so you can confirm accident records, title status, and ownership patterns before you get too far into the process. After that, prioritize a pre-purchase inspection that focuses on body condition, signs of prior repair, and whether the car still feels tight and well-kept on the road. Because this is a premium coupe, condition matters a lot: pay close attention to cosmetic wear, interior upkeep, and any evidence that the car was maintained inconsistently.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2014 Audi A5?

This looks like a moderate market where selective buyers can still find value if they shop carefully.

• Deal availability: 32.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 212 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 8.21% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $10,419, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2014 Audi A5's resale value?

The current average of $10,652 sits slightly below last year's $11,605.

That price movement suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you buy at a more favorable entry point today. For a future seller, it also means you should expect resale value to depend heavily on condition, mileage, and how well the car has been maintained. A clean, well-documented example is more likely to hold buyer interest than one with visible wear or a questionable history.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.75/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2014 Audi A5 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2014 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2014 if:

• 32.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 59.9% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 8.21% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.75/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line:

If you want the most appealing balance of price, style, and all-wheel-drive confidence, the 2014 is a strong primary choice. If you’re especially price-sensitive, you can use the softer market and deal availability to focus on the cleanest, best-documented example rather than stretching for a newer year.
