This is (was) a great car that Ford mis-marketed! It blows the Ford Edge away with its ride quality and passenger/cargo capacity. Based on a car chassis, it just cruises like a long-wheelbased limo on the highway. Mine has every option imaginable except satellite radio: full power--even power adjustable gas and brake pedals!--moon roof; navigation; rear heat and a/c; multi-disc CD player; DVD player(s)--front and rear!--with wireless headphones; second row reclining bucket seats and second console; multi-driver memory for seat/mirror settings; back-up sensors/alarm; 18" alloy wheels; homelink; privacy glass; rear wiper/washer and defroster; auto-dimming mirror; heated outside mirrors; full leather interior; split, fold-down 3rd row seats; roof rack rails; and the list goes on! Great family car! All seats except the driver's fold flat so you have an almost 10 foot long cargo area floor.

Limited edition is loaded with comfort features, good value used, good visibility Im 5 ft 6 in and I have no trouble seeing around me while driving, lots of cargo space. Reminds me of a ford taurus but much bigger Minus 1 star due to slightly underpowered engine for a car this heavy and handling around curves at higher speed like highway entrance/exits takes getting used to

The freestyle is a very maintenence free, dependable vehicle. We have owned a 2006 for 3 years now.,and all we have had to do to it was replace the overhead cam and waterpump assembly, and put an alternate and new battery in it last week. It has a lot of power for a 6 cylinder car. It is definitely a reliable, cost efficient vehicle..

specious, practical, not too bulky, smooth, comfortable, great handling, awesome AWD system, very smooth transmition - CVT, powerful enough, reasonable consumption though not as low as provided by manufacturer.

Very well built car. Very spacious and easy to drive. The reviews I’ve read about this car being somewhat underpowered are correct but it handles 90 mph with no problems.

The 2007 Ford Freestyle didn't change much from the 2005 and 2006 model years. This might be in advance of the model's replacement. The car hasn't sold very well from the start. This might be due to its lack of definition identity: is it a wagon or an SUV? Car or minivan? Kind of reminds me of Whatzit from the Atlanta Olympics.

Despite being an easy target for people more comfortable with cars that fall into one category alone, the Freestyle has received some good reviews citing its handling in poor weather and its spacious interior.
