The four-side door design from earlier Odyssey models has been replaced with sliding doors. Most owners reviewed prefer the old design, complaining the sliding doors often stick. All 1999 Odyssey models come with an (EBD) Electronic Braking Distribution system that manages to calculate weight distribution inside the vehicle and will adjust braking action during hard stops. This is definitely a great safety feature.
