Used 1998 Mazda Millenia for Sale near New York
The only change Mazda made to its lineup of Millennia sedans for 1998 was to discontinue the L Sedan. That left only two versions of the Millennia available to buyers -- the Base sedan and the higher-end S sedan.
The Base Millennia was powered by a 170-horsepower 2.5-liter V6, and came with such standard features as a four-speed automatic transmission, air conditioning, power windows, power door locks, a tilt steering wheel with a memory feature, cruise control, automatic climate control, dual airbags, and a lighted entry system.
The S version received a supercharged 2.3-liter V6, which pushed horsepower up to 210. It was equipped with an upgraded list of standard features that included leather seats, a power sunroof, and traction control.
Generally, drivers were very positive about the Millennia sedan, praising it for its quiet engine, smooth handling, luxury features, and good value, especially when compared to other luxury automobiles. On the downside, some noted that power was adequate but not spectacular, and that gas mileage was not as good as expected.
4.4 Overall rating
(5 reviews)Very quick on acceleration, gas mileage is ok for a v6. Parts are expensive. Engine is a little hard to work on. Brakes are Good. Good handling. Overall great car. Leather interior, heated seats. Has sunroof, fully adjustable electric seats. Aluminum wheels. Took it to Iowa from Michigan and didn't miss a beat. Got decent gas mileage all the way there.
It is the "freshest" Millenia out there ;) The performance is amazing, drives smoothly, even on the bumpiest roads, the build quality is pretty solid, and the appearance is drop dead gorgeous, it's fun to drive and turns head no matter how fast your going. I love it!
very clean car. immaculate black with tan interior. 210 hp /210 lbs torque. purple tinted windows with H.I.D. kit headlight 25000k purple too. first quality leather interior, finish like any luxury car, unique model, very sharp. a REAL FUN to drive
I had a 1998 Millenia S that was pearl white - it had the supercharged engine so it had decent acceleration - it was expensive to maintain- I got rearended in New Orleans.
I have driven this car since 2000 and have enjoyed myself. I would buy it again if my wife would let me. This is the non Miller cycle engine so the performance is not the greatest, but then the engine is cheaper to work on and there is no supercharger to fail after 100,000 miles.
