Used Honda Accord for Sale near California
Still in its first generation even after four years, the 1980 Honda Accord offered little difference from the original year of production.
Now in both a hatchback/coupe and sedan model, the only real changes this year consisted of upgrading to a manual three, rather than two speed automatic transmission, and a few cosmetic changes.
A few are still on the road, and several have enjoyed complete rebuilding and restoration by auto enthusiasts, but because of the really minor changes from the year before, the '80 Accord really has nothing else to remark on.

(7 reviews)I bought the car almost exactly a year ago (Aug. 2007) with 143k miles, since then I have put about 6k miles on it. I was skeptical at first because of its age, but It has been an incredible car. The previous owner had taken excellent care of the car and the body was in near-perfect shape. The body had a few rust spots around the wheel wells and in unnoticeable places under the body. The interior was excellent, except for a torn driver's seat. The dashboard had no discoloration, the seats are incredibly clean. The interior was roomy, even filled with a maximum of four passengers, the car still felt very roomy. I suppose things could get uncomfortable with very tall people, however. The car had mediocre power, suitable enough for town and city driving, the car gets terrible gas mileage on highways and interstates (due to a 3-speed automatic, the car is geared very low). However, you can run the engine faster because it is a 4-cylinder and it is designed to be able to run faster without the engine getting too warm. The steering is excellent as well in the car, but I had to replace the rack in pinion six months ago, due to the mechanism leaking. The handling is still incredible. I have had no electrical problems with the car, and everything in the car works (even the clock in the dash). I had to replace the alternator belt because it was frayed, but I expect other minor problems with belt in hoses that are still the original from the car. The car is very easy to work on. Overall, the car is fun to drive and very solid. Honda lives up to its reputation for dependable automobiles.
Mine was mint green, not silver like this picture. LOVED this car - so much fun and had a lot of fun times!
Cheap to run, and well equipped, allthough a tad rusty...
menurut ku sih nice keren bagus yah lumayan buat mobil tahun 80 an apa lg kalo dikasih body kit pasti tambah keren terus dikasih warna black metallic terus di kasih vinly pasti tambah keren bgt tuh terus dipake in pelek 19 inch
Love my Hondas{ive had 2 1980-81 accords}Great gas mileage, great in the snow, nice pep and equally nice to look at!Comparable to any Toyota or Datsun of its age and it blows them away! And i love those cars as well!Im currently driving one and it still runs great and its 29 years old!
