Dealerships near me (Summit Argo, IL)

I was looking at a 2013 Acura. Negotiated a price and was forwarded a price for a 2017 Acura. I agreed and signed the paperwork and sent a check to the dealership. They came back and said that they made a mistake and that I owed them another $1000 for the 2017. Then they told me that I could get the 2013 for the same price but would have to redo the paperwork. Buyer beware!

It seems like this dealership was not interested in me as a buyer. Although I’m from out of town it seems like they didn’t care if I pursued with the purchase or not perhaps it was too much work with me being out of town and having a vehicle to trade in but they just didn’t seem interested. They lowballed me on the price of my trade-in but at the same time jacked up the price of the other vehicle online.

Dealer responded quickly. Answered all questions and followed up days later. Very professional

They were fine and generous with the test drive. Back at the dealer they showed me the price out the door and the add-ons were about $4,000 on a $23K car- seemed like a lot, but it’s been a a while since I’ve bought a car at a dealer. Then they told me there was a buyer waiting for his money to come through, and he was gonna buy the car that day if I didn’t. They told me they were 110% sure he was going to buy the car that day if I didn’t decide to buy it then. The car remains available online and they have reached out to me a few times to offer the car….
