Very responsive without being overbearing.

The AI auto responses were multiple and confusing. I wasn’t sure who I was talking to at any given point. A sales person never actually contacted me. I got conflicting information about purchasing out of state and asked for a sales manager to call me. Never heard from anyone. Bought elsewhere.

Our experience at Melkonian Subaru in North Reading, MA was simply tremendous. Bottomline: we will 100% do business with them when we purchase our next vehicle in the future. They were knowledgeable, timely, kind, and extremely professional. What we liked most was their “no pressure” approach. They did not try and upsell us. That waws what made the difference. There are some 65 Subaru dealers in the New England area. From our experience, Melkonian is number 1!

Great staff

Communication was terrible. I called and they told me the car was available, I drove an hour and 15 minutes to go see it for them to tell me that the car was not there but in the shop for maintenance. I was then told by the manager and the person in charge of the car, that once the car was back from the shop that they will call me right away, specially since I drove out there for no reason. That was Thursday afternoon, Saturday the car was sold to someone else. Never received a phone call. Got a message from CarGurus that the car was sold. I called to verify and the car was sold.

The sales person lacked knowledge in the sale process and the car features. After making an appointment to see a particular vehicle on the lot we were pressured to test drive a vehicle other than the car we went to see. We eventually purchased the car we wanted but there were a couple items we were told would be taken care of before delivery which were not. We were told the Inspection sticker would be done which was not. Lots of miscommunication during the delivery process.

I had high hopes of going to this dealership and buying the car but I received a call from the place stating that since I was from NH, they were adding a $500 fee to register my car! What? They explained to me that they've been burned before from people from New Hampshire. So I would have to pay the cost of them sending a driver to the registry of New Hampshire to register the car for me. I don't think this was a good place to do business with after that. It's too bad because I really liked the car. The price was good, but their business practices led me to look to other dealerships that have equally good deals.

Mark and Mike are extremely knowledgeable and patient with me overtime as I made decisions about buying or not. Also super helpful and transparent with their knowledge of each individual vehicle I test drove! Highly recommended!
