Beginning with sales rep James Moore and finishing up with Sales rep Julian Connor we had a most positive experience with Fitzgerald Auto. I purchased a car for a family member; who spoke most highly of the experience she had with Julian Connor. She reported that she found him expert, attentive and efficient in all her dealings with Julian. The car is now hers and she says she couldn’t be happier.

Had an appointment to go test drive and they had already sold it and didn’t bother calling me before I got there. Used car manager acted like he didn’t know who I even was although he called me that Friday to tell me oh you are going to like it. They had my number and that could have saved me a trip. Rude

Initial email exchanges with the used sales manager seemed a bit rude and he was completely unwilling to consider any price negotiations. Still went to check out the car which was very nice. Even with pre-arranged financing, it still took 3 hours to buy the car! They tried several times to get me to do a credit application even though I did not want their financing and the final price was a little over $100 over the quote I'd received by email - they had padded out the title & registration costs claiming I'll get it back if it doesn't actually cost that much. Why would you have to estimate tag & title fees? Those are fixed by the state. They also tried to sell me on a bunch of "protection packages" which would have increased the price of the car by at least 50%. Probably standard procedure in car sales, but it really irked me. Stuff like this is why most people hate the car buying process.
