GMC dealerships near me (Aurora, IL)

Contacted the dealer here before the car was even listed on their own site. I heard back in under 30 minutes. Unfortunately, as a recent trade the car was heading in for detailing. There was no issue getting updates and answers while waiting 48 hours for the car to come back. I was called as soon as the vehicle was available to be seen and driven. Having already gotten my own history reports on the car, I looked the car over ( and under) and took a test drive. Was offered the dealer add-ons and extended coverages, all of which were easily declined. No hard sell. Support, sales and management staff were all accessible and helpful. The usual business office "paperwork" is partly digital now and went quickly.

Dealership manager and a few salespeople emailed me, on several occasions, to help and answer questions. All people have been very nice.

Had a good test ride with the sales rep. Made an offer and sales representative was to get back to me within a couple days. When they got back with us sales rep stated car had been sold. This was not true as an inside sales rep called a day later and said the vehicle was still available. Received a second call a day later stating car was still available. Car showed back up on CarGurus and their website and had been marked up another thousand dollars. Disappointing that we were not given honest statements. I would’ve much rather they stated they did not except our offer and moved on. I would not recommend the dealership to any of my friends.

I like the car I purchased. I drove over 10 hours (there & back) to purchase this vehicle. I was told prior to driving down that the paperwork would be ready to sign when I arrive “to get me in & back out the door.” What should have taken, maybe alittle over an hour, took 2 1/2 hours before the purchase was completed. Hence the 4 out of 5 stars.

Very easy to work with, got me the car I wanted.
