In December I visited this dealership to test drive a 2017 Jaguar with only 16K miles. After the test drive I told the salesperson I was interested, however I wanted to pay for a pre-purchase inspection to be completed by my certified Jaguar mechanic before making an offer. I was told a $500 non-refundable deposit was required for the vehicle to be taken for inspection. I asked the salesperson to contact the Owner about this rule and follow up with me. I did not receive a call back. I called the dealership again and spoke with a different salesperson sharing my same request for a response. This salesperson tried to get me to purchase the car, then have it checked. He also shared there was a high risk to their insurance for driving cars to pre-purchase inspections by their staff. I never heard back. I secured financing and was ready to make an offer pending the outcome of the pre-purchase inspection. After reading some of their ratings I decided this dealership did me a favor.
