What’s New for the 2026 Chrysler Pacifica

The 2026 Chrysler Pacifica is largely a carryover model with some small variances in feature availability between trims. The only big news for this model year is the addition of the 100th Anniversary Edition, which is an option package with the Select trim. It includes “Est. 1925” badging, unique trim, and Chrysler's Safety Sphere package content. This special edition is only available in Red Hot, Bright White, or Hydro Blue paint.

Design

The Chrysler Pacifica has a classic minivan design with a short nose and sliding side doors. LED headlights and fog lamps are standard, and roof racks are available with lower trims but standard on the top-tier Pinnacle. Depending on configurations, wheels measure 17, 18, or 20 inches. The 2026 Pacifica has an S Appearance package on the Select and Limited trims, which includes black exterior accents and badges, larger wheels, and a black roof rack.

Powertrain

When it launched in 2017, the Chrysler Pacifica was equipped with the 287-horsepower, 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 engine, and that’s still true in 2026. Also consistent is the nine-speed automatic transmission. Front-wheel drive (FWD) is standard, but all-wheel drive (AWD) is available with every trim. According to the EPA, drivers can expect 17 to 19 mpg in the city and 25 to 28 mpg on the highway, depending on the drivetrain. A Trailer-tow Group package, available only with the Pacifica Limited, provides a maximum towing capacity of 3,600 pounds, which is 100 pounds more than its competitors.

Interior

All 2026 Pacifica trims come standard with seating for seven. However, if you know you’re regularly going to need room for eight, a bench seat is available as an option on the Select trim. Synthetic leather upholstery is standard on the base trim, with Nappa leather becoming standard with the Pacifica Limited. A dual-pane panoramic moonroof is optional on the Select and standard on the upper trims. One of the biggest selling points for the Pacifica is (and always has been) the second- and third-row Stow ’n Go seats, which easily fold into the floor for a completely flat load surface. While the third-row Stow ’n Go is standard with all trims, the Pacifica Pinnacle uses standard captain’s chairs that don't fold into the floor. The Pacifica has a generous 87.5 cubic feet behind the third row, and a maximum cargo volume of 140.5 cubic feet behind the first row.

Technology

Even though minivans aren’t generally considered cool, the 2026 Chrysler Pacifica has some impressive technology. It gets a standard 10.1-inch infotainment screen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, Amazon Alexa compatibility, SiriusXM Radio, remote engine start, a six-speaker audio system, and a seven-inch digital gauge cluster. Available tech includes a 13-speaker Alpine audio system, a Harmon Kardon premium sound system with up to 20 speakers, TomTom navigation, a rear-seat entertainment system, a FamCam display showing rear seats, and a Stow ’n Vac in-vehicle vacuum.

Safety

As you'd expect from a family-oriented vehicle, the 2026 Pacifica comes with a host of standard safety features, including a blind-spot monitor, rear cross-traffic alert, lane-departure warning, automatic high-beam headlights, adaptive cruise control, and automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection. Available features include a 360-degree camera and front and rear parking sensors. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) gives the 2026 Pacifica an overall safety rating of five out of five stars. Though the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety hasn’t yet evaluated the 2026 model, it gave the 2025 Pacifica mediocre marks, with just one Good rating and several lesser Acceptable or Marginal ratings.
