Car Deals with 0% APR in December 2025

by CarGurus Editorial Team

A new car is always going to be one of your biggest purchases. So it’s not uncommon for buyers to spread out that considerable cost over the term of an auto loan. It’s helpful if you can pin down a 0% loan, or zero-percent financing, as that ensures you are only paying off the value of the vehicle and not any additional interest. It’s not as easy to find a 0% APR financing loan these days, but they are out there.

CarGurus knows that car-buying can feel like a complicated process. We’re to help with our list of 0% APR financing loans, which we update every month with the best deals on the best cars. We’ve included any additional manufacturer incentives like cash back or rebates, but you should double-check on the availability of them in addition to talking to your local dealer for any additional financing incentives they are offering, too. All financing deals are listed in alphabetical order, and we’ve listed sedans, crossovers, trucks, EVs, and SUVs.

For full information on each offer, refer to the manufacturer or dealer website.

2024 GMC Sierra EV - Conclusion

What are 0% APR Car Deals?

Learning some lingo helps when finding the best deals on cars. APR stands for annual percentage rate, and tells you how much interest you’ll pay on the loan over the course of the loan term. So 0% APR car deals are offers to borrow money from automakers or dealerships that don’t require you, the borrower, to pay any interest over the duration of your loan; the only thing you’re paying off is the value of the loan itself. Though interest rates change over time, once you sign the contract for your new vehicle, the rate is locked in for the duration of the car loan.

Pros and Cons of 0% APR Car Loans

Pros: Paying off only the value of the loan keeps you from overspending. Zero-percent financing can save you hundreds or thousands of dollars over the course of the loan. It also means you don’t have to do a lot of math to figure out how much more money you’re going to have to factor in to your monthly payments. Lastly, you can sometimes save enough money on a zero-percent financing loan to upgrade to a higher trim.

Cons: Zero-percent car loans are hard to find right now. And when you can pin one down, the dealership is going to be less likely to negotiate on price or add on any further incentives or discounts. In addition, the loans themselves are usually for a shorter period of time, which in turn makes the monthly payments a bit higher. Lastly, you must have an excellent credit score and good credit history to qualify for zero-percent financing.

No-Interest Car Loan Deal Trends

It’s no coincidence that zero-interest loans are available around the same time as end-of-month sales and holiday promotions. These financing offers are used to induce shoppers to consider vehicles and trims that may not be selling as quickly as others. So if you notice that the zero-percent APR financing offer seems to only be available on previous model years, or the highest or lowest trims, you’re not imagining things.

It makes sense to bookmark this guide because we update it monthly. That way you can go straight to the guide before you get your heart set on a new car, truck, or SUV that doesn’t qualify for a zero-interest loan.

It’s also important to keep in mind that finance deals can vary by location. Also know that your credit score can affect the likelihood you’ll qualify for the loan. Read our article about buying a car with a bad credit score to know what other options you have when wanting to buy a car.

How to Get the Best 0% APR Car Deal

Research Available Financing Options

Start with our guide when researching 0% APR car deals, as it provides a comprehensive list of offers from many manufacturers. Then, be sure you consider other types of financing offers, and consider low APR options in particular. You may find a good offer from your bank, for example. As always, whether you’re looking at a no-interest loan or a traditional loan, be sure to calculate any interest, incentives, down payment, and the value of your trade-in if you have one.

It’s important to keep in mind that a deal with the lowest APR isn’t always the best one. And a great deal on a vehicle that isn’t the best car for you isn’t necessarily the best choice. Just because Toyota Financing gives you a great financing deal on a new AWD plug-in hybrid, it doesn’t work if you were really needing the utility of a new Toyota Tacoma pickup truck.

Leverage Trade-Ins and Additional Incentives

A great tool to use for leverage in a 0% APR is a trade-in vehicle, if you have one. Dealerships might be motivated to offer a better price if you have a trade-in. Also, though additional incentives aren’t likely with a 0% APR deal, it’s important to ask. Ask the local dealer if you have access to a loyalty program or if you’re financing an EV, be sure you ask about potential state-level tax credits. Look for words in ads or on the manufacturer and local dealer websites like “bonus cash,” “cash offers,” “customer cash” to recognize financing deals that you can take advantage of. Don’t be shy about negotiating, and definitely don’t be afraid to walk away if the deal and the auto loan isn’t the best fit for you. Nothing’s worse than getting home with your new car and realizing that your monthly payment is higher than you planned.
