Please help me with this??

I have a 2004 oldmobile bravada I can't get it to shift out of Park? I can move
the shifter but it doesn't move off the p??? What could be the problem???

There's a cable that runs between the shifter and the transmission. If the shifter moves, as yours does, and the transmission doesn't shift, it's likely that the cable is broken or detached.
