My 2020 Toyota Camry Hybrid XLE remote connect app will not lock, unlock, lock or notify me if I've left it unlocked. Any one else having this problem?
This vehicle is supposed to have Remote Access using the Toyota App. I have an iPhone XR and loaded the Toyota App which shows it recognizes my vehicle and will tell me mileage, fuel, last trip, my driving analysis, but just won't connect to Unlock, Lock, Start as it's supposed to. Nor will it notify me if I've left the trunk open, door/s or window/s unlocked. In other words, the "actions" part of the App don't work. No help from dealership. Offer diagnostics that will cost me if it discovers "operator error". Is anyone else having this problem with Remote Connect App?
i have the same issue with my 2020 camry. called the toyota technician and they said they are facing this issue with almost 400 cars and there is no fix yet. took to the dealer twice and they unplug the battery terminals for few min and after putting them back my app started working after deleting and adding my vehicle again to my toyota app. but this thing only last for few days amd after that same problem. so there is no permanent fix to this issue yet
