will a 92 trans bolt up if i have a 1995

i cant seem to find a 95 trans and was wondering if a 92 trans would work i found multiple
92's but no 95's mines the base model no turbo and so is the 92

The base and sl will swap out no problems and the only difference in the base/sl, and the vr4s are a few sensors

Actually, It may not. You need to count the number of splines or grooves in the input shaft receiver. Early models are 18 count, newer ones are 25 spline. You simply need to get the appropriate input shaft to make it hook up.
