Plug in for radio

Asked by GuruTJ2YL Jul 27, 2018 at 12:46 PM about the 1995 Mitsubishi 3000GT SL Spyder FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 1995 mitsubishi 3000gt Spyder SL. The plug that gives electrical to
radio/tape/cd has come unplugged under the dash. I cannot locate where it
gets plugged back into. I have been under the dash and can see slot of wiring
plugged in. I have been to two Mitsubishi dealers and neither one could help. I
tried downloading a schematic and cannot see where it plugs. Any ideas on
how I can find information?

That is the connector to program the retractable hardtop. The dealers don’t support the tops anymore. I’ve owned 7 Spyder’s over the years and have a laptop/program to diagnose and fix the tops. Frank Pearson 3000gtSpyderRegistry
