Disconnect the battery ground cable. Remove the LH instrument panel lower insulator. Remove the pin-type retainers. Disconnect the courtesy lamp. If equipped with adjustable pedals, remove the accelerator pedal, and shaft. Position the LCM aside. Remove the screws. Release the locking tab. Disconnect the electrical connectors and remove the LCM. To install, reverse the removal procedure. Check for correct operation.

The LCM is now covered under warranty due to recall. The dealership will replace it free of charge.
