2017 ford fusion in shop now for 3rd time battery does dead. They already replaced the battery and still happening.

As long as they are handling it under the warranty. Cars today place a tremendous load on the battery, and troubleshooting a battery drain is very difficult.

Ford lead acid batteries seem to have high failure rates with the newer car's with a lot of electronics. Even though I am under warranty I could not afford to have the car fail randomly so I upgraded to an AGM style battery. Also if you are going to have the car sit for more than a few days its a good idea to keep it on a smart charger.

I've had that issue in my 2015 fusion energi hybrid. Went to the shop 3 times, but they don't know what they are doing. They just swap battery twice and it still happen. My suspicion is that when the information center illuminates on the left you have to hit OK. It seemed to also loose connection with the key. I think otherwise it stays lite and kills the battery. I now have the 2018 energi. So far no issues for 6 months
