Over heating with oil spray.

I was driving my 1990 Honda acccord and when i got back from a drive i noticed that oil
was leaking from the bottom part of my motor, but it was spraying. I looked at my heat
gage and it showed that is was over heating also. I don't know what it is, got any ideas?

You sure it was motor oil and not coolant?

Well when I ran my finger across my hood it was black.

OK, so is your oil level low? That is a pretty good leak if it getting flung around. You should be able to see where it is leaking if you clean up the engine bay and run it in park till it heats up. Valve cover gasket comes to mind.
