F150 2016 sport 4x4 extended cab outside cab light and tailgate key light

Frequently when the truck is parked and locked the exterior cab light and
tailgate key light will come on and go off Sometimes on and off several times
and other times come on and stay on for a period of time.

I took it into the dealership and they found a corroded plug in and light socket in the rear exterior cargo light it appeared to have gotten wet they claimed to have sealed to prevent it from getting wet. So far it hasn’t happened
