The clutches in the trans exposed to water for a period of time will swell up causing issues with shifting. You might be looking at a rebuild or replacement transmission. Have a local trans shop diagnose it for you.

A flood damaged car is a write off- your insurance should buy you a new one- when water gets into the electronics of these 21st Century cars, all the wires, sensors, computers- rust, corrosion- they are beyond repair and should be scrapped- unfortunately, some unscrupulous people clean them up and resell them to unsuspecting victims- they will never run right again- buyer beware
