Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Vehicle was submerged in about 2ft of
water. Fluid was drained and replaced. Will
not go into any gear. Motor runs great but
trans will not engage.

A flood damaged car is a write off- your insurance should buy you a new one- when water gets into the electronics of these 21st Century cars, all the wires, sensors, computers- rust, corrosion- they are beyond repair and should be scrapped- unfortunately, some unscrupulous people clean them up and resell them to unsuspecting victims- they will never run right again- buyer beware
